Cupcakes and Corsets is all about being different, we believe all women are beautiful, no mtter what size or shape they may be, and our aim is to make you look and feel like a million bucks! Our award winning photography and digital painting offers our customers something totally unique, bespoke and fun! Just like the good old days of the 1940's, we believe in working hard and playing hard too! Each of our digital paintings take between 10 and 15 hours of work to create, completely by hand, and with plenty of love and tea breaks inbetween!
We are accredited and part of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers, and the Royal Photographic Society, and we uphold their high standards of work in everything we do. Based in the Birmingham area, we can visit your home for a shoot, or book a studio space for you if you are coming from further afield. Prices start at £150 for a session and we can provide many different kinds of prints, canvasses, acrylic wall portraits and box frames that will really stand out in your home!
Because all our work is completely bespoke, before we do any photography or charge you any money, we have a consultation with you before your session to talk about the kind of look you want and the style you love! Here we run through everything you need to know, and calm your nerves if you have any! At the end of your consultation, if you wish to proceed with a shoot we will take a £50 non refundable deposit from you, with the remaining £100 to be paid before or on the day of the shoot.
On the day itself we will come to your home and bring a bottle of bubbly and some choccies to spoil yourself with while we set up and our beautician prepares your hair and does your makeup. This takes roughly an hour, and once your done we will begin shooting! We will shoot for roughly 2 hours, and go through as many or as few poses and outfit changes as you like, making use of any props you may have to hand, or some of our own!
Once the shoot is over, we will edit your images and host them on our secure site, all you need to do is enter your secure password which we will email to you once the pictures are up. From there you can choose any of our products that you like and order away! We will then retouch or paint your chosen image and then email a proof to make sure you are happy with the final piece before we send it off to be printed!Simple!
